Peel Children’s Aid Foundation Appoints Tania Kolar as Interim Executive Director

Dear Donors, Partners, and Friends,

On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Tania Kolar as Interim Executive Director of Peel Children’s Aid Foundation, effective immediately.

Tania has a long history with the Foundation as both a dedicated volunteer and a member of our Board of Directors. She brings extensive leadership experience, strong communication skills, and a deep passion for advancing child well-being in our community. Over the years, she has built meaningful connections with many of our partners and stakeholders, and she looks forward to strengthening those relationships while fostering new ones as she steps into this leadership role.

In accepting this appointment, Tania will take a leave of absence from her position as a Director on the Board of Peel Children’s Aid Foundation. This step ensures a clear separation of governance and management roles during her interim term.

As Interim Executive Director, Tania will lead the Foundation through this transitional period while we implement our next phase of growth — providing stability and positioning the organization for long-term success. She will ensure continuity in operations, support our staff team, and work closely with the Board to advance our mission of raising vital funds to support Peel Children’s Aid Society. Tania will also serve as a bridge between staff, Board members, Peel CAS, and our valued donors, partners, and community supporters, ensuring that collaboration and trusted relationships remain at the heart of our work. In addition, she will play a pivotal role in preparing for and assisting with the onboarding of the Foundation’s next permanent Executive Director.
